The owners ripped out their old stone fireplace and were planning to install a new gaz stove. What they hadn't planned on, was how to finish the space. Together with Vision Design TGM, we removed the tile floor edging, lightened the wood floors, added a simple yet striking fireplace with a custom wraparound media unit and matching shelves. We removed a redundant set of stairs from behind the couch and closed it in with a wall-to-wall cabinet. And in the front entrance, we built a customized a floor-to-ceiling locker-style cabinet. The owners are thrilled with the results and love the look & functionality of both spaces.
