Our client hired us to turn his unfinished basement into a cozy entertainment area. While the space presented many challenges, together with Vision Design TGM, we dived the room into two sections.
One for utilities and storage, and the other for entertainment. For noise consideration, we incorporated sound insulation in the walls and ceiling, and added acoustic wall panels for added absorption. To accommodate access to the sump pump, water taps and backwater valve (which were located in the floor in the entertainment section), we modified some cabinets, added a sink and installed decorative foam matts which can be easily removed. Both spaces look great & our client loves his new mancave.
